Beyond the SAT: the Personal Data in the Dossier
A Mexican supplier dossier contains documents belonging to individuals. That processing is subject to the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), on top of tax and labor regulations.
What personal data lives in the dossier
The Tax Status Certificate, the Articles of Incorporation and the Legal Powers contain data belonging to individuals: RFC, CURP, address, IDs and signatures. In Egixia that documentation travels and is stored encrypted, with TLS 1.3 for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest, and access is controlled through roles and permissions defined by your team.
Processing on behalf of your company
Egixia processes that personal data on behalf of your company and for the purposes your company defines in the service agreement: document validation, supplier qualification and payment management. Our data processing takes the LFPDPPP as a reference to facilitate compliance for our clients in Mexico. The specific obligations of each party are agreed in the service agreement and in your company's privacy notice.
ARCO rights
ARCO rights — Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection — are exercised by the data subject before the company responsible for the processing.
